Angel Chambers is committed to public law children work; our public law family team is one of the largest in Wales. We are widely recognised as leaders in this field with a large number of highly rated junior counsel appearing in many of the most serious cases across Wales.
We are regularly briefed in all forms of public law proceedings from the FPC to the High Court and appellate courts. We represent parents and children, acting through the Official Solicitor and the Family Court Advisory Service. We are regularly briefed by local authorities seeking specialist advice and representation.

In addition to these areas we have developed significant and unique expertise in the application of Human Rights within the growing body Welsh legislation. We are experienced in representing claimants and public bodies in free-standing human rights claims and in pursuing human rights claims within existing family law or public law proceedings.
