Kate’s practice focuses on both public and private law proceedings concerning children at all court tiers, including matters under the Family Law Act 1996.
Kate has conducted cases involving injuries to children, allegations of sexual abuse involving both adult and children complainants and has acted for Local Authorities, parents, children, extended family members and interveners within those proceedings.
In addition Kate has undertaken High Court work involving applications for the permanent removal of children from the jurisdiction of England and Wales and to Hague Convention Countries and Non Hague Convention Countries.
Kate regularly accepts instructions in relation to financial matters and TOLATA. She also accepts instructions from Education Authorities and The Court of Protection.
Kate regularly keeps abreast of pertinent legal issues and provides CPD seminars along with other members of the family team at Angel Chambers.
