Henrietta joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2024, following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Simon Stephenson and Susan Jenkins.

Henrietta graduated from Swansea University with First Class Honours in her Law Degree. Following this, Henrietta received a scholarship from Cardiff University to undertake her BTC. Henrietta completed the BTC with a ‘Very Competent’, she was a member of the winning advocacy team in the Cardiff Bar School Mock Trial Competition, as well as obtaining an award for the highest mark in Conferencing.

Henrietta has developed a broad practice and accepts instructions in family and civil law including private children law, family injunctions, small claims and possession claims.

Practice Areas

Family law

Henrietta has a busy family law practice representing both applicants and respondents in a range of family matters in the County Court before Magistrates, District Judges and Circuit Judges.

Private Law

Henrietta frequently receives instructions relating to applications for Child Arrangement Orders, Special Guardianship Orders, Specific Issue Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders, Henrietta represents a range of individuals in these applications including parents, grandparents and the children’s guardian. Henrietta undertakes work at all stages of proceedings in private law children matters from conciliation and directions hearings through to final hearings. Henrietta is regularly instructed in matters which involve domestic abuse, allegations of child abuse and where there is Local Authority involvement.

Public Law

Henrietta also receives instructions in public law proceedings. Henrietta represents all parties and her work to date has included representing parents at various stages of proceedings, including urgent applications, case management hearings and issue resolution hearings.

Family Injunctions

Henrietta represents client in family injunction applications for Non – Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.

Ancillary Relief

Henrietta also accepts instructions in financial remedy cases, her work to date includes first directions appointment and consent orders.

Civil law

Henrietta undertakes work on a variety of Small Claims representing both claimants and defendants, particularly in respect of Road Traffic Accidents, where liability and quantum are in dispute. Further work includes representing applicants and respondents in infant approval hearings. Henrietta is frequently instructed in possession claims made under section 8 and section 21 of the Housing Act 1988.
